Doug Dahmen - Biography

SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA

Doug Dahmen has owned Arabian Horses since 1969. He is the owner of Intara Arabians, an Arabian horse breeding farm in Santa Maria, California.

At Intara Arabians, Doug has stood several internationally famous stallions and played an integral part in their success. Doug has bred over 40 major Championship winners, including Scottsdale, US National, Canadian National, International – on 5 continents, and World Champion horses.

Doug has judged Arabian horse shows all over the world including: Scottsdale, Canadian Nationals, British Nationals, UK International, The All Nations Cup – three times, The World Championships at the Salon du Cheval in Paris - twice, as well as shows in Austria, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Qatar.
